A great tool to build a data-driven company
We use Celonis in order to analyze supply chain processes and to find action to reduce inefficiencies. Since the supply chain is particularly complex, having data driven analysis based on process digital twins enable the possibility of more effective and fast actions.

Celonis - a great and powerful tool for hr processes
Celonis is our provider for getting insights into processes. We use it to analyze our business process to discover, analyze and improve our HR and finance processes for the global organisation. With the use of Celonis we are able to get architects of our own service processes. The management uses Celonis to decide and act on business critical events.

- Not all of the templates available in the on-premise content store are available in the EMS Content Store, as we've discovered.
- Data from Celonis EMS (cloud) is difficult to export into other systems.
- The number of PQL functions available is restricted, and sophisticated calculations might be difficult to implement using PQL statements.

Celonis Journey
Celonis is being used in our company to analyze high-level and case-specific views of the life cycle of purchase orders and sales orders which come from multiple ERPs to identify inefficiencies/gaps in the process (those that deviate from the happy path). It is also being used to notify teams of the pending actions they need to do by using the Action Engine module.
- Good UX design and easy to learn
- Deep diving into process inefficiencies
- Excellent documentation in help resources, including guides to best practices
- Available certifications and training for Partners
- Continuous, further development of the products
- Great customer service /support
- There are limits that we know of, especially if you are maintaining a large amount of data since there's only so much you can load in the dashboards
- There are still manual processes, especially in importing data from one pool to another, which I'm hoping they can automate in the future (probably using schedules)
- I wish there would be more sample use cases to utilize the Machine Learning Module

I am a part of integrating Celonis into our outbound supply chain for the US petcare business. Our use cases address FTR for order management, avoiding late delivery penalties, improving LCCs, and getting a three-way match process set up to ensure that the order price matches the invoice price. We are implementing Celonis within our Order-To-Cash process
to improve labor productivity and find working capital opportunities. With
Celonis we can focus on specific areas important to us as a business namely -
order processing, on-time delivery, and throughput time between specific
activities.
With the Celonis team, we have worked to prioritize the
appropriate improvement opportunities to work on and what value those
opportunities might provide to us.
- The team is incredible at integrating background tables, and building out the real-life processes end users are going through so that opportunities can be quickly identified. They continually persevere and are willing to bring in new data sets to make the platform as productive as possible.
- The team continually challenges our internal business processes and setups to ensure that we are hunting for opportunities and pushing the limits of what we thought was possible for improving our operations
- The X-ray view within the process explorer and the variant explorer provides a transparent overview of the order to cash process which we did not have previously
- OLAP tables and different dimensions to slice the data with [helping] us find the root cause of the improvement opportunity that we want to focus on
- Execution instruments like Action Flow help us take advantage of any insights provided to us within the process explorer
- Dashboard views of specific KPIs help us build and export management reports with ease

First Time Celonis User
We use Celonis in a myriad of fashions. Our current projects include IT Service Management, Manufacturing Optimization, as well as Order Management / Accounts Receivable Management. In the near future, we are looking to implement Celonis for Supply Chain as well as Learning and Development and many others. Most of the business problems addressed have to do with increasing business efficiency for certain processes but other use cases include helping with testing for the S4 Hana migration as well as pinpointing particular problems in tickets in service management.

We leverage Celonis to demonstrate and prove out how our software solutions can optimize our customer's workflow processes, specifically within the service and incident management space. Through the process explorer from Celonis, we can map out a customer's current service and incident management processes and demonstrate where there are opportunities to improve on their KPIs by identifying areas of inefficiencies. Furthermore, it gives us the ability to visualize and quantify the potential impact on the customer and translate that into actionable steps for them.

- There's a learning curve to using Celonis, so perhaps providing guided step by step instructions would benefit users that are not as experienced with the platform

I use Celonis for accounts payable with [a] use case - pay term compliance, On-Time payment, and duplicate payment. It helps us to identify Non-standard pay term gaps, identify potential WADP (weighted average Days payable) opportunities, Identify fallouts and assign to [the] right owner through action engine, Identify potential suspect duplicates, etc. Celonis is [a] current, future data science and process mining leader and going to rule technology companies. Earlier companies start investing huge money in R&D, In [the] future companies have to invest parallelly in process mining to compete with world-class companies.

Mining my way to value
We are currently deploying Celonis in our Order To Cash processes, but aim for much more. Initially, we are using the Process Mining capabilities to optimize free cash flow by reducing overall order-to-invoice cycle time as well as by reducing our container rolls. We plan to soon use action flow capabilities to proactively notify different team members of outstanding tasks requiring their actions.

- CVAs take the journey with our company to help us drive real value out of the tool
- The highest value requires learning PQL (low-code options exist, but the size of the prize is limited). That said, once one dives into learning the language, tangible value can be unlocked fairly quickly.
- Can improve screen utilization to offer the best experience, regardless of what device the user has (laptop and tablet users at times will see compressed charts, making quick visualization harder). One [piece of advice] would be to reduce the real estate consumed by the top ribbons. Significant growth of home offices has drawn more attention to what people are able to accomplish from smaller setups.
- Celonis could offer usage stats by default so that we can follow user adoption more easily.

Celonis is used for process retransformation of the client's processes by analyzing their current processes and designing their new processes via its process mining feature. Its advanced conformance technique helps clients understand the gaps well.

Celonis - A must-have for every business
I use Celonis in my daily business when it comes to implementing process mining for our customers. Therefore, Celonis is the one and only tool for visualizing and analyzing as-is business processes. Next to visualizing the process, automation plays a very important role and has become more relevant to our customers recently. The great thing about Celonis is that there are so many implementation possibilities [within] just one tool - Reporting, Automation, Machine Learning, Monitoring, and many more, just to name a few.

Chief of process mining tools and execution management systems
We use Celonis for mainly its process mining capabilities to a quick understanding of the current AS-IS process, to remove any gaps identified in the process. Arrive at time-consuming activities in any telecom process (example: any order Order-Cash process, B2B, etc.) based on the footprints ingested/integrated to Celonis. We also use it to find Automation Opportunities, Deviations and set/arrive at process KPIs to understand throughput by multiple levels. Basically, we break down any process-related data/information into chunks to completely analyze and optimize or bring any changes to the process.

Celonis is incredibly powerful - but enough internal resources are required to really profit from the benefits
We use Celonis in our GPO organizations F2C (AP/AR), P2P, and O2C and aim at a rollout to all regions and countries for all processes. We currently focus on performance KPIs.
- Excellent adaption support by Celonis.
- Powerful new features (such as action flows (RPA), realtime extraction / transformation).
- Unique insights in business processes - Digital twin of a company.
- Celonis Service Desk time to connect to the specialist in case of technical issues.
- Speed of new developments is quite high - Celonis customers might lag behind or there is a slight risk to skip important steps, implement new features even faster, and thus lose focus on [their] own learning curve.
Celonis is now a global tool used in all the Divisions inside Electrification Business Area. We are mainly focused on P2P, Inventory, and O2C processes and narrowing down the root causes of the problems. We have evolved together with Celonis and our needs have helped also Celonis to develop new solutions. We will start soon in the cloud-based solution so looking forward to seeing the power of this new machine.

Celonis engages users at all levels of the organization to make powerful, knowledge/data-based decisions!!!
Celonis is currently being used as a reporting and visibility tool. Similar to tableau and Power BI. We currently have this tool implemented in several workstreams, i.e. Accounts Payable, P2P, A/R, Customer Service. We also have this tool integrated with various other systems such as Zendesk, Metrix / IFS. Celonis has the ability to provide visibility to data that we once did not have before and the data is quickly achievable. Our next step is to move towards automation. We want to leverage the action flow to start with our automation journey.

- Support - one of the worst I have ever seen. With out escalating issues to Germany, support is not able to resolve questions.
- PQL - The software needs better query builders that helps business users build queries.
- GUI - In process analytics, there needs to be a drag and drop functionality to build analysis quicker and not have to write formulas to perform sum or average calculations. Similar to [how] pivot tables are performed in Excel.
